When we were planning our Spring vacation, we knew we wanted to go somewhere fairly close and a place neither of us had visited. Italy has always been on my wish list of places to visit for it’s culture, rich history, fashion and food.

We decided to take a tour through Italy starting from Rome, then moving on to Florence, stopping by Venice and ending our trip in Milan. We want to see everything we could at once to get the full experience of Italy during our Italian Escape.

We did the most touring while in Rome. We visited the major historical areas such as the Coliseum, the forum, the victor’s monument the Vatican city, the Trevi fountain and the Spanish steps.

I was in awe of the beauty and greatness of this city. So rich in their culture and history where people live beside these ancient ruins. I often had to stop to take it all in.
