NYE 2015

It’s finally New Year’s Eve and it’s time to ring in the New Year! 2014 has been an incredible year for me personally, I accomplished some major milestones career wise, moved to a new country, started living with my boyfriend for the first time and found a new career here in Sweden. I am so happy my sister was able to spend the holidays with me. I wanted her to know that I’m doing just fine, but I knew she had to see it for herself. And through this she got to meet the incredible Nackovski’s who have been so kind and generous to me. We both gained a loving family and we are so grateful.

Every New Year’s Eve we spend it with Daniel’s parents. His mom always makes the most delicious food and in large quantities. It’s cozy with the fireplace and nice with the fine china, very festive. We even got to eat in what I call “The Museum Room”, which is the other family room that is only used twice a year for formal gatherings.

After dinner, we had to head home to our place for our own NYE party. Due to Daniel’s lack of planning, we had to come up with something quick and going into the city was out of the question. My idea of a fun night is not in some loud, crazy nightclub with sloppy drunk people, I prefer it in my own home. So that is exactly what we did, a dance party.

All in all 2014 was a great year, let’s hope 2015 will top it, although I can do without all of the major life changes. Happy New Year everyone! May 2015 bring you health, wealth and happiness!!!
