I saw this meme and felt it was so true. When it comes to work clothes and dressing professionally, I always try to think of what is appropriate and timeless. A lot of times that means a lot of black which I call my “work uniform”, but sometimes I like to play with color, prints and patterns.

I love all DVF wrap dresses. It’s always flattering and easy to wear. And it’s the only time I really wear patterns. She knows how to fit the woman’s body especially if you have some curves.

Black and white prints always attracts my eye. I love the clean look of it and the simplicity. I like black in white in most patterns such as plaid, gingham and houndstooth. They are definitely a part of my staple work wardrobe.

I love pairing a girly print with a solid and of course it’s usually black. I have a very monochromatic style when I’m working. I think that’s how I try to balance looking feminine while still showing strength. Don’t take my bows for weakness! LOL. #girlboss
