Black is my favorite go to color for work clothes. It’s classic, chic and you can always dress it up or down depending on your day’s agenda.

The perfect little black sheath dress goes along way when paired with a fitted blazer and some killer shoes. Break up the basic blacks with interesting pops of color.

This black Armani dress with a satin sash and a thigh slit is simple, but not boring! Pair this with great pumps and a blazer and go from day to night in one outfit.

If I’m wearing an outfit that has some colored hardware, I tend to match the rest of my outfit to that. This amazing Valentino coat has some gold details, so I paired my other accessories to match.
Fun fact: This coat did not come originally with these gold buttons, they came with wooden brown ball shaped buttons, which I thought was a bit strange. I went to my local fabric store and picked up these luxurious buttons and exchanged them. I think it added a little flare. Never settle if it’s not 100% to your liking and if you can change it to make it better, do it! Add your own personal style and touch.
