When Daniel and I started dating, I used to leave him love notes in places that he wouldn’t necessarily find easily. I’d hide them in his wallet folded up between his credit cards, inside his gym bag and other sneaky places. I’m a hopeless romantic remember? I just pictured him being a little surprised and maybe smiling when he found one. As the years went on, I did it less and less. Not because I love him any less, but life got busy and little things like this seem to be forgotten.

With both of us traveling for work there are times where we are not in the same country, so before my last trip, I decided to leave him little notes around the house. This was so that when he came home, he would know I was thinking of him…no matter where I was in the world.
