Birthday Girl

Wow, March 2nd came around really fast this year! Isn’t it scary how the years seem to past by as you get older? This year was my first birthday in Sweden. In the states, I used to celebrate my birthday for a month! Mostly because I had different groups of friends to share it with. Instead of curling up in a ball in a dark corner because I am getting older, I like to celebrated it…a lot. Plus, it is another reason to party all month! LOL.

My birthday day was a busy one with work and then school, so I decided to open my gifts in the morning. My sister had sent a large box that I thought were boots. I was shocked to open it and find a pair of beautiful Christian Louboutins! It’s the exact style that I wanted! She is known back home as the Loubie queen with a collection of probably 50+ Loubies. She bought me my first ever Louboutin several years ago and now, thanks to her I have a little collection of my own with 6 in total! She is definitely keeping my luxury shoes addiction up!

Next was Daniel’s gift and it was beautiful. I have been wanting this Tiffany’s Atlas bangle for awhile. It was definitely a wonderful start to my birthday!

After a long work day and school, I was excited to come home and spend some time with Daniel. I came home to find his family there with pizza and a cake to celebrate my birthday. I really am blessed to have such a sweet family. They really helped to make this birthday extra special. I had a great birthday!

To keep my birthday celebration going, Daniel took me to see this incredible view of the bridge that connects Sweden to Denmark. We were on our way to dinner in Malmö, the restaurant surprisingly named Bastard.

Cheers to another year! If every year is like this one, I’ll be a happy girl!
