I wanted to plan a special girl’s day for my two favorite ladies, my sister and Daniel’s mom. Daniel’s mom raised two boys and never get to do fun girly things. It’s my mission to show her the more feminine side and my sister is the master at afternoon tea. She’s traveled the world and loves having afternoon tea everywhere she visits. I’ve heard that Bloom in the Park in Malmö is the place to go, so I made us a reservations and surprised Daniel’s mom with the news!
The restaurant is decorated in a Swedish contemporary style and of course, all white. Not a ton of decor, just clean and simple. There were two musicians that played us soft music as we enjoyed our tea. I’m not 100% sure that Daniel’s mom was sold on the concept of having afternoon tea. The sandwiches are a bit small, but the best part was the scones and sweets. They were absolutely delicious. All in all, I think everyone had a good time experiencing afternoon tea in Sweden. It was a first for all of us.
