I’m pretty excited about my new bike! Or cykel in Swedish! I’ve been wanting a bike since I moved to Sweden. It’s so Euro! LOL! A lot of people bike in Sweden and it’s a nice way to get around the city. The hardest part about finding a bike was finding one that would fit my height. We needed to find a 26″ bike or a 47 frame, which is hard to come by. They usually have a size smaller or larger. The smaller one is usually for children and the standard 28″ is too tall for me. I searched high and low to find a bike in pink. I found one and even went to see it, but it was way too childish looking even for me. I guess I will have to just accessorize my bike with pink! This brand is a common Swedish brand called Monark. I named my bike Mona and added a flower on the basket… she is such a pretty girl! Too bad I won’t have much of a chance to ride her because it has been raining non-stop here! Although, I did manage to take her out once on Saturday to the gym. She rode like a dream! Can’t wait to until the weather is nicer to take her around the park!
