Since we are currently on a fixed single income, I have tried to do my part not to break the bank. So this means no more nail salons… (sad face). Like I mentioned in a previous post, getting your nails done is quite expensive here, like everything else. So I’ve had to take it upon myself to do my own mani-pedis. The first few times were rough and my fingers and toes looked like a kid’s science project, but now I’m starting to get the hang of it. I still am no match to Lanny Nail in Beverly Hills, where mani-pedis are only $30! They are by far the best when it comes to painting. No streaks, bumps or bubbles. For now, I will have to deal with my own nails, but I still miss the simple luxuries I took for granted!
