This past weekend we went to Köttbaren, which translated into English is Meat Bar. I have heard about this place from many people saying that the food is delicious. We were joined by Dragan and Vesna which are relatives of the family. The decor is rustic and what you would expect to find at a butcher shop. Lots of big wooden tables and pig inspired decor. The kitchen is exposed to the guests and there is a display of beautiful cuts of meat in one of the refrigerated counters. It was such a fun night with great food and great company. Definitely a must try for anyone in Malmö.

The portion sizes are definitely different here in Sweden. I ordered the rib eye which is typically a little fatty, but usually a good size. I was surprised to see it when it came out because the size of the cut was smaller than I had expected… rib eyes are definitely larger back home. Maybe the cows are bigger??? LOL.

My rib eye. Delicious... just wish there was more!

You’re ruining my workday productivity. Paris is shoulderbeasting. All I hear is, “Oh my god. Look at that! Wait, is that cheese butter? That’s a huge dollop. What is that? Scroll down, scroll down!”
