Last week was the annual Malmo Festival. Every year the city center of Malmo is transformed into a main stage for music, art and culture. Local restaurants can showcase their food and you can find food from all walks of life! I even found a Vietnamese restaurant called Mrs. Saigon! I didn’t get a chance to try it, but I will definitely be looking it up. This festival last for a week and attracts thousands of visitors making it the largest festival in Scandinavia. It’s also free!!!

The first time I heard First Aid Kit was in Los Angeles while driving around in my car listening to NPR. They are country singers from Sweden! I don’t care for country usually, but they had such an interesting unique sound. I began listening to more of their music. To my surprise they were playing a set at the Malmo Festival, so I had to see them live. They were great! They have this hippie country vibe to their look and their sound is pure country. You should check them out!
